Disclosure
Affiliate disclosure
Better Daily Gear participates in affiliate programs. This means some of the links on our site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission.
It costs you nothing extra
The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go to the retailer directly. The commission comes out of the retailer’s side, not yours.
It doesn’t change our recommendations
We choose what to write about based on whether it solves a real, everyday problem. A potential commission never decides what we recommend or how we describe it. When we’re unsure a product is worth it, we say so.
How we label links
Each guide that contains affiliate links includes a clear note saying so. We follow the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s guidance on disclosing material connections, and we aim to make the relationship obvious rather than burying it.
The standards we hold
- We describe products based on the maker’s own information.
- We avoid safety, medical, injury-prevention, and guaranteed-outcome claims.
- We don’t use fake testimonials, fake before-and-after proof, or false urgency.
- We follow the policies of each brand and affiliate network we work with.
Questions about how our links work? That’s fair, and we’d rather you ask than wonder. This page will stay current as the project grows.
